Procrastination

I am the Queen of Procrastination. As my friend Jo says I suffer from "Attention deficit, ooh shiny" disorder and she's not wrong.
When I was a kid at primary school I always left everything to the last minute and then panicked before I settled down and did it. I have followed this trend my whole life.
At the moment my procrastination means that I have so much work to do I am overwhelmed; I have no idea where to start, how to decide what I need to start with and therefore I spend my days putting out the biggest fire.
Tomorrow I have to make a plan, a plan I can stick to and make the madness stop. Although it is Global Maker Day tomorrow and I'm going to be busy so maybe I should do that on Wednesday. Although Wednesday I have the Gala shop to do, baking to organise with the kids and crafts to make. Thursday and Friday I have a mentor meeting, property meeting and more gala stuff plus throw in the Kapa Haka and Choir practices and pricing of everything.
Maybe the budget can wait until the week after and the STRAP planning and the assessment data analysis and the appraisal stuff or maybe tomorrow morning I can step up and make some stuff happen in the paper department.
It's been a huge year and I need to make sure everyone is supported and that means getting my act together...am starting now.
